Commercial Entities and business stakeholders from the fields of Shipping, Logistics and Ports met on October 5, 2011 in Piraeus and discussed the advantages of Short Sea Sipping (SSS) in both operational and strategic level. The Conference was organized by PROPS , as part of WP6 and being the last of a series of marketing and promotion activities focused on SSS and Intermodality.

Participants from 18 EU Countries discussed about Short Sea Shipping, the reduction of administrative barriers regarding Intermodality at European level, the attainment of business excellence as well as the research results from PROPS. Alongside the conference entities and entrepreneurs had the chance to exchange views and ideas and do business networking.
